Westside Church of Christ Inc is the offspring of the East Jackson Street Church of Christ that met for nearly 85 years at 221 East Jackson Street, in Sullivan, Indiana, from at least December 1895, thru January 1980. Our current building was constructed and dedicated for worship activities in 1980. This page includes links to a 2-part PDF copy of the "Church Book" containing financial and meeting records of the East Jackson Street Church of Christ from December 8, 1895, thru October 7, 1943. Some of the book's contents are uplifting and encouraging. Other parts reflect our ancestors' imperfect nature. We pray that God will guide us toward unity and love. We have confidence that His grace will cover our errors as we seek Him in His infinite mercy.
